Pageanthology’s Supreme Queen for 2024 is Czech Republic’s Krystyna Pyszková – the woman who brought the Miss World crown home to her country for the second time in history, in front of the pageant’s biggest audience in nearly three decades.
Pyszková’s path to the crown began in 2022, when she won Miss Czech Republic, earning the right to represent her country at Miss World. At the 71st edition of the pageant, held at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai, India – the first time the competition had returned to the country in 28 years – Pyszková bested 111 other contestants from around the world to be crowned Miss World 2024.
Pyszková became just the second woman from the Czech Republic to win Miss World. Away from the stage, Pyszková was pursuing dual degrees in Law and Business Administration at the time of her win.
Her reaction after being crowned captured the moment: “Being crowned Miss World is a dream come true. I am deeply honored to represent my country and the values of ‘beauty with a purpose’ on a global platform.”
Besting 111 competitors on one of Miss World’s biggest stages in years, and cementing the Czech Republic’s growing pageant legacy, Krystyna will be remembered for years to come.
