Pageanthology’s Supreme Queen for 2021 is Côte d’Ivoire’s Olivia Yace – the woman who became the biggest phenomenon of that Miss World cycle without ever taking the crown.
Crowned Miss Côte d’Ivoire on September 4, 2021, in Abidjan. Yace entered the Miss World stage as a relative newcomer to international pageantry. That didn’t last long. Over the months leading into the March 2022 final in Puerto Rico, she became, by a wide margin, the most talked-about and most popular delegate of the entire 70th edition – a genuine global fan favorite whose following transcended the usual pageant circles entirely.
At the Miss World 2021 final, Yace finished as 2nd Runner-Up. She was also awarded Miss World Africa, becoming the continental champion for the edition.
