Miss Universe 2026 Contestants – Croatia: Antea Mršić

Croatia arrives at the 75th Miss Universe with a delegate whose journey combines athletic discipline, academic achievement, and a genuine commitment to giving back. Representing the country in San Juan, Puerto Rico is Antea Mršić, 24, from Zagreb.

A graduate in Sports Management and Sports Activities Management from Libertas University in Zagreb, Antea currently works professionally for a basketball club — a career path she considers one of her proudest achievements. She has spoken about how the combination of sport and education shaped her core values: discipline, teamwork, and perseverance, qualities she credits directly to her years balancing competitive athletics with her studies.

Her platform reflects that background directly. Upon being crowned, she shared her vision for her reign: “As Miss Universe Croatia 2026, I would like to dedicate myself to projects that encourage children and young people to participate in sports, especially those who do not have equal opportunities, because I believe sport can positively influence their development and self-confidence.” It’s a platform built not on abstraction, but on her own lived experience of what sport gave her.

She was equally candid about the emotional weight of her win, sharing online: “I am endlessly grateful for every single person who believed in me. I am excited to have the opportunity to represent Croatia on the world stage.”
