The final is nearly here. After weeks of tracking arrivals, head-to-head challenges, talent performances, and every twist along the way, Pageanthology is releasing our Pre-Final Top 20 for Miss World 2026, our last major ranking before Vietnam crowns a new queen.
This list reflects everything we’ve observed across the entire competition cycle. Some names have held steady since our very first list, others have surged in the final stretch, and a genuinely competitive field has emerged heading into the finale. Here is where things stand in our list:
1. Vietnam 🇻🇳 — Asia & Oceania
The host country takes our top spot heading into the final stretch. Home advantage, an exceptional personal profile, and the eyes of the entire nation have carried Vietnam to the summit of our pre-final list. Consistent throughout the journey thus far and a heavy favorite.
2. Bolivia 🇧🇴 — Americas & Caribbean
Bolivia continues to build on the momentum she’s carried since our very first list. Second heading into the final, and one of the most consistent performers of this entire cycle. Definitely one to watch heading into the final stretch especially after an impressive Head to Head result.
3. Denmark 🇩🇰 — Europe
Denmark makes a significant statement climbing into our top three ahead of the final. A composed, elegant campaign that has steadily built momentum right when it matters most. Her Head to Head performnance was the breaking point we’ve been waiting for and she definitely delivered.
4. Nigeria 🇳🇬 — Africa
Nigeria enters our pre-final top five carrying one of pageantry’s most storied Miss World legacies, including Agbani Darego’s historic 2001 win. The first time making our Top 20 this cycle and what a deserved one, also Head to Head performance was the breakthrough we were waiting for.
5. Brazil 🇧🇷 — Americas & Caribbean
Brazil rounds out our top five, carrying one of pageantry’s most powerful national legacies into the final stretch. A consistent, competitive presence throughout this entire competition. Never dropped from our Top 5/8. A strong contender for the crown this year.
6. Czech Republic 🇨🇿 — Europe
Miss World wins in recent editions have made Czech Republic one of the most feared nations in this competition, and she carries that reputation firmly into our pre-final six. Face of the competition, dare we say and has the other qualties to back it up.
7. Philippines 🇵🇭 — Asia & Oceania
The Philippines’ has been one of the most consistent delegates this cycle and she solified her status as a strong contender in the Head to Head challenge.
8. Botswana 🇧🇼 — Africa
Botswana closes out our top eight, continuing to build one of the most impressive Miss World campaigns on the African continent this entire cycle.
