The delegates have landed in Vietnam for about a week, and first impressions are already reshaping the conversation heading into Miss World 2026. Based on arrivals, early buzz, the various events and everything our correspondents have observed on the ground, Pageanthology is releasing our Post-Arrival Top 20 – using the known Miss World format, drawing the five strongest contenders from each corner of the competition: the Americas & Caribbean, Asia & Oceania, and Europe & Africa.
This list reflects the shifts we’ve seen since our pre-arrival assessment. New names have entered the conversation, some have climbed, and the picture heading into the competition proper is clearer than ever, but take everything lightly as this is Miss World, one of the most unpredictable pageants to exist.

1. Chile 🇨🇱 – Americas & Caribbean
Chile takes the top spot on our post-arrival list. A striking arrival and immediate presence have vaulted her to our number one position heading into the competition. The ideal Miss World type of beauty and the talents & purpose to back it up.
2. Czech Republic 🇨🇿 — Europe
With a Miss World win in recent years have made Czech Republic one of the most feared nations in this competition, and her arrival did nothing to dispel that reputation. A firm second on our updated list.
3. Uganda 🇺🇬 — Africa
Uganda continues to build on the buzz she generated even before arriving in Vietnam. Third on our post-arrival list, she remains one of the most exciting African delegates in this entire edition.
4. India 🇮🇳 — Asia & Oceania
India’s Miss World legacy speaks for itself – six titles and counting. Fourth on our list, she arrives with the poise and polish that has defined India’s dominance at this competition for decades.
5. Brazil 🇧🇷 — Americas & Caribbean
Neck and neck with Chile for the Americas top spot, Brazil rounds out our top five, carrying one of pageantry’s most powerful national legacies into Vietnam. Overall #2 on our list but due to the regional format, she drops to #5. A consistent, competitive presence from the moment she arrived.
6. Vietnam 🇻🇳 — Asia & Oceania
The host country representative continues to be one of the most closely watched delegates of the entire competition. Home advantage, an exceptional personal profile, and the eyes of the nation all point to a big run for Vietnam.
7. France 🇫🇷 — Europe
France remains one of our clearest front-runners. Her arrival only reinforced what we already believed – this is one of the most complete delegates in the entire field.
8. Equatorial Guinea 🇬🇶 — Africa
One of the biggest movers on our post-arrival list. Equatorial Guinea makes a striking first impression and enters our top 8 as of arrival week.
- Bolivia 🇧🇴 — Americas & Caribbean
- Malaysia 🇲🇾 — Asia & Oceania
- Botswana 🇧🇼 — Africa
- Hungary 🇭🇺 — Europe
- Venezuela 🇻🇪 — Americas & Caribbean
- Tanzania 🇹🇿 — Africa
- Philippines 🇵🇭 — Asia & Oceania
- Belgium 🇧🇪 — Europe
- Indonesia 🇮🇩 — Asia & Oceania
- Argentina 🇦🇷 — Americas & Caribbean
- Denmark 🇩🇰 — Europe
- Kenya 🇰🇪 — Africa
Who are your favorites?

My favourite at the moment is also Chile!!!like her beauty is something else…she is clearly on next level….but since yeah miss world is such an unpredictable pageant She could’ve lowered her position in the finale like south africa last year but i think for now she’s my most expected delegate to win the coveted crown…apart from her,i see potential dark horse in India,Vietnam,Brazil,Nigeria and Botswana..Vietnam might win Miss Asia since the competition is held in Veitnam(iykyk🤭🤭)
